Summer Camp 2026
Thanks for joining us for another year of Summer Camp fun!
This year the Troop will be attending Camp Olmsted at Goshen Scout Reservation in Virginia! Camp Olmsted is the largest camp at Goshen. It holds the only Scout Dining Hall at Goshen and is the nexus for the STEM program, holding programs in the state-of-the art Booz Allen Hamilton Technology Center. It also offers a traditional merit badge program with over 60 merit badges, a first year camper program (Trailshead), the ATV and Osprey programs, and aquatics in the 450 acre Lake Merriweather. Mark your calendars today; we will be departing the morning of Sunday, June-28, 2026 and returning Saturday, July 4, 2026
Pay With Credit: Once again the Troop will be able to offer the convenience of paying by Credit Card! You may also opt to save some money and
continue to pay by Cash or Check at a troop meeting or by mailing your payment to us. Fees for summer camp this year are as follows:
- $610 Scout
- $340 Adult
Payment in full at the time of registration is greatly appreciated. We need all payments finalized by TBD so we will be able to register for MB classes for Scouts on that date; otherwise, we will have to wait to register for classes and Scouts will likely lose their spots in prime MB classes. If needed, payments may be broken into 2 equal installments (select half installment in the drop-down). Due dates are as follows:
- Full payment or First half installment, due by Tue, February 10th*
- Second half installment, due Tues, TBD*

Pay Online
Please use the payment button below to pay for your camp registration fees by credit card. Be sure to include the name of the scout/adult, your unit (893B or 893G) and the reason (“Summer Camp”) in the comment box to ensure your family receives the payment credit. Please remember to include the $3 PayPal fee to your total (helps defray Unit credit card fees)
Pay In-person
For those that prefer to pay for camp in person, please visit the Summer Camp Registration Table at an upcoming Troop meeting. This will be set up in the Narthex of the church at all troop meetings through February 10th. Scouts and adults will have an opportunity to ask questions and submit their camp payments.
Please make sure to bring exact change if paying in cash. All checks should be made out to “Troop 893”. It is okay to submit all your family’s payments as one check. Checks should be handed to Mr. Dunlop or Mr. Smith.
Now That You Paid, Don’t Forget to Register!
Please Provide registration information for each scout and adult in the spreadsheet provided in the button below (CamperRegistrationForm-2026.xls) and return to Andrew Dunlop (andrew_d2@icloud.com) by February 10. If there are multiple scouts and/or adults from a family that plan to attend, please include them in a single spreadsheet on separate lines. Note that the fields for Rank and Age do not need to be completed for adults. No registration will be considered complete without both a complete online registration form and a 1st payment/installment.
