Elizabeth Furnace Campout (Mar 21-23): We will camp at the Elizabeth Furnace group site on Friday night. On Saturday, Scouts will have two options:
- Backpack to Meneka Peak (1,800 ft elevation change) and camp overnight Saturday in the backcountry. Return to camp on Sunday (8.5 mile round trip).
- Hike to Buzzard Rock (4 mile round trip, 700 ft elevation change) and go rock climbing. Return to the group site to camp overnight Saturday.
NOTE: This campout is NOT for new Scouts (crossing over from Cub Scouts). Their first campout will be the New Scout campout in April.
