Final review of station plans and development of Patrol meal plans. This includes how the patrol will use the Secret ingredient and how they will compete in the Dutch oven bake off. All patrols will also use this time to finalize plans for the Friday event “893’s Got Talent” .All Scouts should arrive at the meeting with their 10 Essentials (see handbook p. 238-239). The Patrol will the most prepared Scouts will be recognized and gain bonus points for Mission Impossible.
A. AOL Stations – Each Patrol should finalize their station plan and share details of how the EDGE method will be applied based on the attached station guidance. Mission Impossible Stations as determined at Leadership Training on October 3.

- Knots – Titans
- Fire – Eagles
B. Meal Planning – The Saturday dinner, including dessert with “Secret Ingredient”, will be part of Mission Impossible competition. Patrols will have plenty of time to cook dinner so time to get creative…encourage all to consider dutch oven or other meals. Should not see any hot dog or burgers and definitely no ramen.
- Each Scout should bring $15 for grubmaster.
- Each Patrol meal plan must be reviewed and approved by SPL and Scoutmaster (use attached Grubmaster plan).
C. Skit – Each patrol should be thinking about a skit to share Friday evening after camp is setup
Uniform Class A
This campout is one of the best all year with lots of pride in showing off the Troop to AOL scouts and which is followed by the evening patrol competition. Lots of fun is planned and we look forward to seeing everyone.
- All Scouts should be at CUMC no later than 6pm (eat diner first)
- Adults should be prepared to transport
- Bring signed permission slip and give to SPL, no exceptions
