Scoutmaster Moment
Yesterday our family watched excitedly as the Navy Blue Angels and Air Force Thunderbirds flying teams both flew over our neighborhood as a joint demonstration of support to the many people in the region who are caring for patients on the medical front lines. They started in Baltimore, flew through DC into Virginia before passing to Atlanta, flying over major hospitals. The weather is, nice, we’ve all been restricted from our normal activities and feeling restless, but the numbers have not dropped enough. Continue to do your best to maintain social distancing (and wash those hands!).

Announcements
SUMMER CAMP: Everyone should have shared their merit badge and activity requests with Mr. Barnett. That also means completing the waivers (see attached).
Camp is still on: Summit has announced they are delaying start of camp to 1 July – however we are due on 5 July and are set to go still. As we’ve all seen through this COVID response target dates and impacts can shift. We will certainly share what we know should anything change. Timing for doctor signed medical forms and completed swim tests prior to camp arrival are an acknowledged concern that camps are working on, again we’ll share what we know as we learn more.
