Scoutmaster Minute: The installation of the new Troop 893 leadership team is now official and we look forward to another exciting 6 months.
We also has a great showing on Saturday for the cleanup around CUMC. Many dead branch’s, pine needles, leaves, dirt and grit were swept, raked, cut, snipped and/or scooped up by members of the Troop 893 family.
Nicely done.
1. This Week Apr 9: Knotting Ahead (Phoenix)
Uniform – Class A

The Phoenix patrol has developed some materials to assist new scouts (and perhaps refresh current scouts) with core skills. This friendly activity will lay the foundation for some future competitions among Patrols, while also serving as an excellent prep for the New Scout Campout, April 26-28. This includes getting a quick read on who will be attending the campout so we can determine how best to provide the Nova Corp with a grubmaster opportunity.

2. Next Week Apr 16: SPRING BREAK

No Meeting – Have fun, relax, recharge.

WHAT:  The Troop’s biggest, most fun-filled event, the 46th Annual Memorial Day Family Canoe Trip, May 24-26, 2019.
