The Titan patrol has prepared a series of challenges that will require a combination of wit and skill to complete successfully. Please come prepared with water and bug repellant. We will be monitoring the weather since storms are in the forecast, in which case we will adjust activities for a indoor format.

We had 18 canoes and 2 kayaks making the run from Fort Stover to Compton Rapids on Saturday. The river level was perfect and weather was exceptional. Many river pirates were spotted engaged in some very robust water transfer activities. On Saturday evening we enjoyed a very lively campfire program led by Owen Pschigoda, Benjamin Powers and Tyler Morley. Mr. Taylor and I also prepared some Dutch oven deserts of monkey bread and peach cobbler. Mrs. Powers also offered some marshmallows for toasting on the fire to cap off the evening. On Sunday morning we all took the Compton Rapids challenge and only had 1 of 9 canoes get swamped, someone has to take one for the team. We also successfully navigated Hazard Mill, which is always interesting adventure. Looking for to next year!
